Q-SYS HIGH-IMPACT SPACES EBOOK
The brief: Q-SYS wanted to put a name to a new kind of meeting room. Offices were being redesigned around hybrid work, and a third of IT decision makers said they were building new types of meeting space to keep up. Q-SYS needed an ebook that defined these “high-impact spaces” and showed IT and AV buyers how its audio, video and control platform could equip them.
The execution: I wrote an ebook structured around five room types: the divisible room, training room, boardroom, all hands space and flex space. Each room is profiled with its role, the benefit of equipping it properly, and what Q-SYS brings to it, along with a two-word summary (the divisible room is “Flexible and Automated,” the boardroom “Equitable and Elevated”). Technical features like automatic multi-camera switching and single-USB connection to Teams, Zoom and Google Meet are translated into what they actually mean for the people in the room and the people dialing in. The ebook feeds into the wider Beyond Boundaries campaign.
